Diwali 2026 party rentals in Hyderabad: games, karaoke, sound and pooja items

For a Diwali party in Hyderabad you can rent a tambola set (₹150 a day), a karaoke player (₹2,000, or ₹3,500 with our sound system), a QSC speaker (₹2,000), a projector with screen (₹1,500) and carrom (₹350), and for the Lakshmi pooja a vratham peetam (₹500) and flowers and backdrop cloths (₹1,500–2,500), from Rental World in Nagole, open 24/7.

Diwali falls on Sunday 8 November 2026, the day of the Lakshmi pooja, and Karthika Masam begins two days later. Families, apartment communities and offices hold their get-togethers on the days around it.

The things worth renting are the ones you use for one evening and then store for a year: party games, karaoke and sound, a big screen, and the peetam and decoration for the pooja. Diyas, sweets and pooja samagri are still bought fresh.

Games everyone can join: tambola, Sequence and carrom

Tambola (housie) gets a whole room playing at once, from grandparents to children, and works best with a few small prizes. The set is ₹150 a day. Sequence (₹200 a day) is a team board game for a smaller table.

Carrom with its own stand (₹350 a day) and chess (₹150) keep the quieter games going in a corner. For an apartment tournament on the weekend, the table tennis table is ₹2,500 a day; it's large, so book a mini-truck for transport.

Music: karaoke and a speaker

Karaoke is the easiest way to fill the evening after dinner. The player has 10,000 songs: rent just the player (₹2,000 a day) if you have a TV and speakers, or the player with our sound system (₹3,500 a day) and start singing straight away.

For music and announcements across a terrace or a community hall, one QSC 1000W speaker (₹2,000 a day) is enough for most parties. Add mics with stands (₹400 a day) for the anchor or a speech.

A big screen for the photos

A projector with a screen (₹1,500 a day, or ₹2,500 for the HD and 4K LED model) runs a family photo slideshow, a film for the children or a match screening on a picture everyone can see.

For the Lakshmi pooja: peetam and decoration

If the family or the office holds a Lakshmi pooja, the vratham peetam (₹500 a day, ₹2,000 deposit) gives the pooja a proper raised mandapam, and artificial flowers, garlands and background cloths (₹1,500–2,500 a day) dress the pooja corner and the photo backdrop.

For a homam as well, add a homam kundi (₹500–999 a day) and a guru peetam (₹1,500) for the purohit.

Three sample budgets

At our day rates:

  • House party: karaoke with our sound system + tambola + carrom = ₹4,000 a day.
  • Apartment or office get-together: QSC speaker + mics with stands + projector with screen + tambola = ₹4,050 a day.
  • Lakshmi pooja at home: vratham peetam + flowers and backdrop cloths = from ₹2,000 a day.

Add transport both ways. Deposits are paid by UPI or bank transfer when you book and refunded within 24 hours of return.
