Terms & conditions

These terms apply whenever you rent from Rental World or use this website. Please read them before you book. By booking, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Rental World is run by Mama Alludu Rentals ("we", "us"), Maa Sai Nivasam, Plot No. 12, Kethana Avenue, opp. Vasanth Vihar A.C. Function Hall, Fathullaguda, Nagole, Uppal, Hyderabad, Telangana 500068. We rent musical instruments, sound equipment, games, projectors, ceremony items and other products in Hyderabad and across Telangana. 2. Booking and ID

  • Bookings are made on WhatsApp, by phone, or in person. A booking is confirmed when we confirm availability and receive the security deposit.
  • You must be 18 or older to rent.
  • You must show one valid government ID (Aadhaar, PAN, passport or driving licence). We may keep a copy for the rental period. See our privacy policy.
  • Availability on the website is not guaranteed until we confirm your booking.

3. Rates and payment

  • Rates are shown per day, and for many items per week (7 days) and per 15 days. A day means up to 24 hours from handover unless we agree otherwise.
  • Where a rate is shown as a range (for example ₹1,500–2,000), we confirm the exact price before you book.
  • Rent is paid by UPI, bank transfer or cash, before or at handover. Transport charges are separate (see section 5).
  • We may change rates at any time; the rate confirmed for your booking will not change.

4. Security deposit

  • Each item has a refundable security deposit, shown on its page. It is paid before handover.
  • When you return the item, we check it together. If it is in the same condition, apart from normal wear and tear, we refund the full deposit within 24 hours.
  • We may deduct from the deposit: repair or replacement costs for damage or missing parts, late-return rent, and any unpaid rent. We will explain any deduction.
  • The deposit is not a limit on what you owe. If costs exceed the deposit, you agree to pay the difference.

5. Pickup, delivery and transport

  • We are open 24 hours, 7 days a week. You can collect from and return to our place in Fathullaguda, Nagole at any hour.
  • We serve all of Hyderabad and Telangana. You can book your own vehicle, or ask us to book an auto, cab or mini-truck on your behalf.
  • Transport charges, both ways, are paid by you, whoever books the vehicle.
  • Items are your responsibility from handover to you (or to the vehicle you or we book for you) until they are returned to us.

6. Using the items

  • Use the items with reasonable care, for their normal purpose, and keep them away from rain, fire, extreme heat and spills.
  • Do not sub-rent, sell, lend for payment, modify or repair the items yourself.
  • Electrical items must be used with suitable, safe power supplies. Children must be supervised when using any item, including cradles and jhoolas.
  • Tell us straight away if anything stops working or is damaged.

7. Returns and late returns

  • Return the items, with all accessories, by the agreed time.
  • Late returns are charged at the day rate for each extra day or part of a day, unless we agree to an extension in writing (WhatsApp is fine).
  • If an item is not returned and you stop responding, we may treat it as lost and take further action, including legal action.

8. Damage and loss

  • Normal wear and tear is fine. You are responsible for damage beyond that, for missing parts, and for loss or theft while the item is with you.
  • The repair or replacement cost is deducted from your deposit after we check the item together. If the cost is more than the deposit, you pay the balance.

9. Changes and cancellations

  • You can change or cancel a booking before handover by messaging us. If we have not handed over the item, we refund the deposit in full.
  • If we have already booked a vehicle for you, its charge is payable.
  • If we cannot provide a booked item, we will tell you as soon as possible and refund anything you have paid for it.

10. Reviews and customer videos

  • We may ask you for an honest Google review after your rental. Reviews are always optional, and we don't offer discounts, gifts or anything else in return for them.
  • If you choose to send us a short video about your rental, you allow Mama Alludu Rentals to post it, unedited or lightly trimmed, on our Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and website, with your first name if you agree. You can ask us to remove it at any time and we will take it down from our own channels.

11. Using this website

You may use this website to browse and contact us. Don't misuse it, attempt to break its security, or send spam through our forms. Content, design and photos on this site belong to us or our licensors. Product photos and descriptions are a guide; see our disclaimer.

12. Liability

We check items before handover and rent them for personal and event use. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as a cancelled event, and our total liability for a booking is limited to the rent you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If there's a problem, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it quickly. Any dispute that we can't resolve together is subject to the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana.
